SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – The Landmark Theatre says its recent, $16 million renovation is paying off.
Without the work, shows like ‘Jersey Boys’ and ‘
Wicked’ would not be able to perform at the theater.
The project finished up in 2011 after the theater was closed for more than a year for renovations.
"We're excited they (production companies) can fit their sets in. There's room for casts. We have more electricity. And we have gorgeous dressing rooms for all the actors and actresses. We are seeing a true test of what our theater can now do with the renovations,” said Mary Kate Hartmann, the Development Director at the Landmark Theatre.
‘Wicked’ is performing at the theater until December 9th.
