Nairobi, Kenya (WSYR-TV/CNN) – Reports indicate that the terrorist group behind a deadly mall attack spent months planning.
The terrorist group Al-Shabaab is believed to have rented a shop in the mall, stored weapons there and spent months developing the siege that CNN reports
left at least 67 people dead.
American forensics teams are helping police through evidence collected at the mall.
During the four-day standoff - the mall’s roof collapsed – burying more than 100 hostages under the rubble.
The number of casualties due to the attack is expected to increase after officials begin to remove the rubble.
