Italy (WSYR-TV/ABC News) - Monday marks the beginning of the retrial of Amanda Knox.
She will not be in Italy for the retrial, instead she will be staying at home in Seattle.
Two years ago, Italy's highest court overturned her murder conviction in connection to the death of her roommate.
No new evidence or witnesses are likely.
However, Rudy Guede, the only person serving a sentence for the crime, could take the stand. He admitted to police that he was at the crime scene.
If Knox is convicted again and if she loses the appeal of that ruling, some say she could be extradited and put behind bars.
