ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A Rochester woman charged with setting the fire that killed four of children has pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges.

Bobbie Kugler's arraignment Friday in Monroe County Court follows an indictment earlier this week on four counts each of second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, as well as felony charges of assault and arson.

Police say the 31-year-old Kugler told investigators the Feb. 18 blaze at the family's home started when she set pictures of her boyfriend on fire and tossed them onto a dresser filled with combustible materials.

Prosecutors haven't said they believe Kugler intentionally killed the children. They say murder charges were filed because the deaths were the result of the arson.
