Rome Police arrest man on crack cocaine charges

Rome (WSYR-TV) – A Rome man was arrested on Friday after police say they discovered a crack cocaine while executing a search warrant.

Wayne Irvin, 41, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, both felonies.

They discovered the drugs in a residence at 411 West St.

Irvin was taken to Rome Police lock-up.
