Rome (WSYR-TV) – State Police arrested a Rome man who they say was taking inappropriate pictures of a child he was sexually abusing.
State Police charged Dustin Smith, 19, with sex abuse in the first degree, a felony, and unlawful surveillance, a felony, when they arrested him on Dec. 21.
The child he is accused of abusing is under the age of 10.
Smith was arraigned in Town of Lee Court and taken to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
