Brighton (WSYR-TV/WROC-TV) – A bus driver in a suburban Rochester school district is out of a job for transporting students while allegedly drunk.
In a letter to parents, the Brighton Central School District said that the driver would be immediately terminated after being arrested on Wednesday morning, according to WROC
Amini Kellum, 35, was charged with DWI.
Police say Kellum crashed her bus into a railing at a gas station on Mount Read Boulevard around 8:30 a.m.
She faces other vehicle and traffic violations.
The driver was taking students in the Brighton school district to a private school.
The students were dropped off around 8 a.m. None of the students were injured.
