OSWEGO, NY (WSYR-TV) - Police say a search warrant at an apartment at 106 East 10th Street led to the arrest of five people Friday night.
Inside, police found two .22 caliber rifles that were previously reported stolen along with 1.3 grams of crack cocaine.
Police say numerous people were in the residence at the time and those who were arrested include:
Marcos S. Guzman, 18 years of age of 106 East 10th St. Apartment #1
Charged with: 2 counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree, firearm- Class E felony
Curt C. Dunsmore , 22 years of age of 4466 Co Rt. 4 Oswego NY
Charged with: 2 counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree, firearm- Class E felony
Timothy F. Benway, 47 years if age, Homeless
Charged with: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree- Class D Felony
Keith R. Smith, 43 years of age, of 116 East 11th St Oswego NY
Charged with: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree- Class A Misdemeanor
Katie L. Leary, 21 years of age, of 106 East 10th St. Apartment # 1
Arrested on a Bench Warrant issued out of Onondaga County
According to Oswego Police, Leary was turned over to the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department.
Smith and Dunsmore were released on appearance tickets.
Benway and Guzman were arraigned in Oswego City Court and sent to the Oswego County Correctional Facility.
