Ledyard, Cayuga County (WSYR-TV) – A former Wells College student has been arrested in connection with vandalism of the college president’s home and vehicle last year.

Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office has charged 20-year-old Jason Colby of Franklin, New Hampshire, with felony criminal mischief.

On Halloween 2011, Wells College President Lisa Ryerson’s home and vehicle owned by the college were subjected to “severe vandalism,” officials said.

Colby was brought to Cayuga County from New Hampshire, arraigned in the Town of Ledyard Court and sent to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.

The sheriff’s office says the investigation is now closed. This is the second arrest in the case.
