Utica (WSYR-TV) - Two months after Anthony Garner was killed near James & West Streets in Utica, police have arrested a second man.

On Friday, Octavius Garrett, 31, of Utica, was taken to jail on a grand jury murder indictment.

Investigators say Garrett played a role in the May homicide of Anthony Garner.

A trial jury found Marshall Jackson, 31, guilty earlier this year on charges of second-degree murder, weapon possession, and possessing a stolen gun. He was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
