Seneca Falls woman charged with rape of 14-year-old boy

Seneca Falls (WSYR-TV) – A Seneca County woman is charged with rape after allegedly giving a teenaged boy alcohol and having sex with him.

Dawn Planty, 45, of Prospect Street in Seneca Falls was arrested Monday by Seneca Falls Police.

The alleged victim is 14 years old.

Planty is charged with rape in the 2nd degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawfully dealing with a child.

Planty was arraigned in Village of Waterloo Court by Judge Dean Mattoon and was sent to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash, $10,000 bond.

She is scheduled to appear in Town of Seneca Falls Court on August 28.
