Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Two Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies were arrested on Wednesday after a District Attorney’s Office investigation discovered that they gave a defendant trial information regarding jurors.
Jail deputies Thomas Carver and Benjamin St. Andrew have been charged with computer trespass, a felony.
The information was acquired after the verdict prior to sentencing. The Onondaga County District Attorney's Office says that the case in question was that of repeat offender Stanley Lostumbo, an Eastwood man who lead several law-enforcement agencies across Onondaga County while behind the wheel of a dumptruck
. Earlier in the month, Lostumbo was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison
The two deputies were issued an appearance ticket for Syracuse City Court on Tuesday, Jan. 31. They have been suspended without pay for 30 days.
