Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Rumors swirled Wednesday about possible Sir Paul McCartney sightings in Central New York. Well, Y94FM’s Ronnie Miller confirms his visit, and has the photos to prove it.

Miller, who produces the Kathy Rowe Show on Y94FM, sent us pictures of the one, the only, Sir Paul McCartney right here in Central New York.

On his blog, Miller posted photos he says he got from his aunt’s husband who works at NEMF.

Miller also says his father-in-law works at a local private airfield where the legendary Beatles frontman had arrived. However, he says McCartney would not take pictures or sign autographs, but he was more than happy to shake hands.

Miller’s blog says McCartney arrived on a private charter plane at around 10 a.m. and headed by limo to NEMF trucking, which is owned by McCartney’s father-in-law.

McCartney accompanied his new wife -- Nancy Shevell -- who was in town to attend a meeting at the NEMF Trucking location in East Syracuse.

Additionally, an employee of the trucking company also confirmed for NewsChannel 9 that McCarthy was there and visited with workers at the terminal and maintenance facility.

To read more about McCartney’s visit, check out Miller’s blog on Y94 FM’s website.
