State Police investigate serious Oswego County accident
Volney (WSYR-TV) – State Police are investigating an accident in Oswego County that left one person seriously injured.
According to State Police, 24-year-old Sarah Teifke of Mexico was behind the wheel of a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire when she failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of County Route 45 and State Route 481.
Her car was struck by dump truck traveling north on 481 in the town of Volney.
Teifke was taken to Upstate University Hospital where she is listed in serious condition.
The dump truck driver wasn't injured.
