We woke up to a coating of snow in Brewerton this morning. Let it snow!

Do ya think Weather 'Control' could control a nice 60 degree winter? ;-D

I was wondering about the windmills(wind fields) also. Will they effect the snowstorm forecasts this winter and how much?

COOKIE10 - 11/3/2009 7:59 AM

I can never remember the winter outlooks to see how accurate they were. I just hope there's snow for Christmas :)

My amateur prediction, based on wildlife and insect activity and weather patterns, is for a colder and snowier winter than we have had in recent years. Like the story states: "It'll be interesting to see how all this pans out."

Ohhhh darn. And here is was wishing that our winter weather would take a break and we would all end up with temps in the 40's to 50's and snowfall to end up way below normal to around 2 feet total for the winter..... WELL I CAN DREAM, CAN'T I?

What are the summers usually like after an El Nino winter?

ToddB - 11/2/2009 10:58 PM
They are saying that that the El Nino will die out in a month or two. Accuweather

ToddB--I read that a while back and while it was interesting, he may have been one of the ones who said it was hard to predict around here. I'll go back and check it out. Thanks.
