Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Change could finally be coming to some abandoned gas stations in the city of Syracuse.
Senator Chuck Schumer announced on Wednesday Sunoco will meet with Mayor Stephanie Miner to work out a plan.
There are three stations that have been vacant for years:
- One on East Seneca Turnpike and
- Two on East Brighton Avenue.
The gas company is expected to work on a redevelopment plan with the city of Syracuse to fix any code violations and offer long-term solutions.
