Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The superintendent for the Baldwinsville Central School District has released a statement following the suspension of a high school boy’s cross county team.
Superintendent Jeanne Dangle stated:
“The Baldwinsville Central School District has completed the investigation of the boys cross country team's alleged hazing incident.
For any student athlete that was found to be involved in the hazing incident, consequences as outlined in the district's athletic code of conduct were applied.
Any student athlete found not to be involved in the hazing incident was reinstated to participate effective immediately.”
The Baldwinsville Central School District Athletic Code
lists hazing as a Level 1 violation that is punishable by parental notification and suspension from district athletic programs until the student has gone through a reinstatement process.
