Manlius (WSYR-TV) - A teenager from Fayetteville is suspected of robbing two financial institutions in two days.  By day three, he ended up in jail.

Ajdin Catal, 19, was arrested Sunday morning for charges of Robbery and Grand Larceny.  Bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.

Syracuse police and Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies helped officers in Manlius track down the vehicle used in a robbery at M&T bank on Saturday.

Detectives say Catal walked into the bank on 500 East Genesee Street in Fayetteville around 9:05 a.m. and demanded money from a worker. He escaped with some cash. No customers or workers at the bank were hurt.

The suspected robber was described as a white male with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark suit jacket and pants, a light colored hoodie, a ball cap and a light multi-colored scarf wrapped around his head.

Surveillance video showed an image of the robber that was similar to footage captured the day before when police say Catal robbed the SECNY credit union in Manlius.

Catal is back in court later this month.  Manlius Police are asking anyone with information about the two robberies to call 682-2212.
