Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Two suspects who police say stabbed Syracuse Police Chief Frank Fowler’s son in a South Side store early Sunday morning were arraigned on Monday.

Police said Frank Fowler Jr. was at Upstate Convenience Market on South Avenue at about 12:15 a.m. when two men, 23-year-olds Demetrius Archie and Antwan Underwood, assaulted him.

They said Fowler’s injuries were not life threatening.

Archie and Underwood were arraigned on assault charges on Monday. Archie is also facing a charge of criminal possession of a weapon.

Fowler was also stabbed during an October incident at Lu Lu’s Bar and Grill in Cicero. He was one of several people injured during the incident.
