Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Syracuse police say a 56-year-old woman was bound with duct tape during a home invasion robbery on the city’s North Side Wednesday.
Police responded to the scene on Willumae Drive just before eight p.m. According to police, the woman answered a knock at her door when two black men forced their way inside. Once inside, police say the suspects tied the woman’s hands with duct tape and proceeded to rummage through her home looking for items to steal. The woman was not hurt.
Police say the suspects got away with a blue laptop computer and some cash.
The suspects were last seen leaving the house through the back door and are described as two black men between 18 to 20 years of age. Both were wearing blue hooded sweatshirts and had medium builds. One of the suspects was masked and one was wearing gray sweatpants, according to police.
