Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police charged four men after an armed robbery at a home on the city’s West Side on Wednesday night.
Police say they arrested three Syracuse men in an SUV a short time after they allegedly robbed a home on Emerson Avenue – Stephon Clemons, 23, of Hutchinson Avenue, and Brenton Spears, 24, and Gregory Spears, 22, both of Park Avenue.
According to police they used what appeared to be a rifle.
They also arrested a man at the victims’ home. They say 21-year-old Daquan Bryant-Wells of Cogswell Avenue in Solvay told them he was visiting the victims. Police determined that Bryant-Wells helped plan the robbery.
All four were charged with robbery in the first degree and burglary in the first degree, both felonies, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor.
They were taken to the Justice Center.
