Syracuse Police investigate South Salina Street shooting
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on South Salina Street Monday night.
Police say the victim – 23-year-old Shakeem Kitchen – was shot in the left ankle. According to police, Kitchen and witnesses say the shots came from an unknown vehicle, but that the evidence they collected at the scene contradicts the accounts.
Police say the victim has been uncooperative with the detectives.
Kitchen was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
