Syracuse Police investigate South Side stabbing

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred on the city’s South Side early Wednesday morning.

Around 3:10 a.m., 26-year-old Jonathan Hunter was approached by two suspects on Primrose Avenue.

Hunter told police that he ran off after being stabbed and collapsed in a driveway on West Matson Avenue.

He told police that both suspects were male and one was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt during the incident.

Hunter was cut behind his ear, on the right side of his neck, his right clavicle, and his right shoulder.

Police do not believe his injuries are life threatening.
