Syracuse Police investigate early-morning shooting

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - A Syracuse man was shot in the leg during an early-morning shooting on Hudson Street.

Police say 22-year-old Quashawn Blunt of Syracuse was shot in his right thigh at 1:40 a.m., while standing near the corner of Hudson St and Sterling Ave.

He was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

He was unable to give police any suspect information.

The investigation is still very active and ongoing.
