Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- The Syracuse Police Department has launched a new online reporting system.
The system is called
eServe and will allow crime victims to file police report on line, 24-hours a day, for incidents such as vehicle damage, property damage and theft.
Once a report is filed it will be reviewed by an officer. A copy of the report will then be sent back to the victim.
Those wishing to file a complaint online may do so by visiting:
www.syracusepolice.org.
Further details about the reporting system and how to use it were discussed at a press conference on Wednesday. We'll have all the details coming up on NewsChannel 9 at 6.
