Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Police are asking for public’s help in solving two serious crimes that were committed on Friday in Downtown Syracuse.

Police held a press conference Friday afternoon to update the public on the recent crimes.

Police say they're looking for three suspects in relation to the downtown stabbing incident and they're hoping people in the area who recorded the incident on their cell phones will come forward.

Police have recovered the suspects’ vehicle and are processing it at their crime lab.

The victim - 27-year old Larry McCraney – is still in critical condition nearly a week after the incident.

In addition, police are hoping the public will help identify a man who walked into a downtown HSBC Bank location and gave a teller a note demanding money. The bank provided police with clear surveillance stills of the suspect.

Police also said that they're looking for help finding a suspect in an incident that occurred on Park Street near Hiawatha Boulevard over the weekend. According to police, several shots were fired from a BB gun in a white car. The victim will likely lose his sight, according to police.

Anyone with information on these recent crimes should call police at 442-5222.
