More than 30 Veterans groups and half a dozen high school marching bands will be taking part in the event, which kicks off today at noon at Clinton Square.

I agree! We can broadcast the St-Pattys day parade but for our veterans.

Why isn't this being broadcast on TV? There are many veterans who are hospitalized, homebound, or physically unable to go dontown to watch the parade. There should be at least one TV station willing to step up and broadcast this.
