Syracuse couple charged with sexually abusing an underage girl

Oswego (WSYR-TV) – The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Syracuse couple accused of sexually abusing a girl in the town of Constantia on multiple occasions.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Melissa Lalone and 42-year-old Donald Larry Lalone of 220 Empire Ave., Syracuse, both sexually abused the victim, who was under the age of 17, during the summer of 2009.

They say Donald Larry Lalone also sexually abused the same victim when she was under the age of 14 during the summer and fall of 2006.

The couple lived in the town of Constantia when the alleged incidents occurred.

Melissa Lalone was charged with sexual abuse in the third degree, a misdemeanor.

Donald Larry Lalone was charged with sexual abuse in the third degree and sexual abuse in the second degree.

The Lalones were released on appearance tickets. They are scheduled to return to Town of Constantia Court on June 18.
