SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Three fires broke out in a span of 35 minutes on Friday night in the City of Syracuse shortly after 7 p.m.

The first was at a vacant home on Bishop Avenue near Brighton Avenue.

Minutes later, flames broke out at the city greenhouse along Onondaga Avenue.

Just a short time later, fire crews were called to another house fire at Tallman Street and Palmer Avenue.

"The big concern is what do you do when you have multiple events going on at the same time? Were you able to handle that? And the answer is yes. We have sufficient resources to do that,” said Syracuse Deputy Fire Chief David Reeves.

All three fires are considered suspicious and are under investigation.
