Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police have recovered drugs, guns, and cash and arrested seven people in a heroin-ring bust after searching several locations in the city last week.
Police say the suspects were involved in “mid to upper level” heroin sales in and around Syracuse and were supplying dealers throughout Central New York.
In addition, the suspects were involved in several incidents involving weapons in the city’s Near West Side area, according to Syracuse Police.
After executing search warrants at 102 Davis St., 211-13 Beattie St., and 135 Stewart Ct., police took seven people into custody: Jonathan Perez, Seandell King, Carlos Hernandez, Felix Vasquez, Adrian Rivera, Pedro Galdon, and Alton West.
The suspects are hosting numerous charges related to drugs and weapons, as well as resisting arrest. Police anticipate making more arrests.
Police say they have recovered:
- Approximately 500 bags of heroin, as well as heroin processing and packaging material
- A loaded, scoped rifle
- A loaded revolver
- A loaded Mac-10 submachine gun
- $6,000 in cash
