Syracuse man arraigned on murder charge

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - A Syracuse man was arraigned Saturday morning for a shooting that left one man dead and a woman injured.

The Onondaga County District Attorney says 31-year old Shala Williams was arraigned on charges of murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Williams was arrested on Friday night.

On Sunday, police say he shot and killed Angelo Jenkins and shot Neisha Baker at a home on Highland Street.

Baker has since been treated and released from the hospital.
