Syracuse man sentenced for molesting child pictured on flashdrive
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Syracuse man who police said had child pornography on his flashdrive was sentenced on Monday for molesting the child depicted in digital images on the device.
38-year-old James Houghton of Mather Street will spend 20 years in a state prison. He had pleaded guilty in Onondaga County Court to one felony count of first degree course of sexual conduct against a child.
His victim was 7 and 8 years old when he molested her in from December 2009 through August 2011.
He was charged in April with possessing explicit pictures of the child.
