Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A 22-year-old registered sex offender, with a prior rape conviction, was sentenced to 15 years in prison Friday for attempting to lure a teenage girl for sex through text message and via Facebook.
Willie J. Davis, of Syracuse, was arrested at Carousel Mall where he had arranged to meet the 13-year-old girl. However, when Davis arrived he was instead met by Homeland Security Investigation agents.
Davis was additionally sentenced to 20 years of supervised release.
