Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Syracuse man who was taken to the hospital after falling 21 floors through a garbage chute following an alleged bank robbery has been formally charged.
Robin Guthridge, 27, of Anderson Avenue in Syracuse, has been arrested for Robbery in the Third Degree, a felony.
Police believe Guthridge robbed Chase Bank on West Fayette Street in Downtown Syracuse on Aug. 29.
He was taken to the hospital after sustaining serious injuries during the fall within a building on South Clinton Street in the city
He was charged and arraigned at the hospital. Police say Guthridge is still recovering from his injuries.
He is being held in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
