Syracuse mayor signs synthetic-drug ban
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse’s mayor put her signature on legislation banning synthetic drugs in the city of Syracuse.
The ordinance was passed by the city’s Common Council on Wednesday. The measure makes it illegal to sell or possess the drugs, which have been connected to a number of bizarre and violent incidents in Central New York and beyond.
Under the ordinance, selling or possessing synthetic drugs is a misdemeanor.
