Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - For the third time in two years, 17 year old Richard Chapman has been shot. The latest case appears to be a drive-by shooting scenario.
Syracuse police were called to the area of West Lafayette Ave. and Cannon Street just before 2:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Investigators were told that someone fired shots at Chapman from a dark grey or black Chevy Avalanche.
Police are still looking for the shooter, who was last seen on West Lafayette Ave., heading toward Midland Avenue.
Chapman was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he was treated for a wound on his left arm.
