Syracuse woman accused of falsely reporting a robbery at Ichiban

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Syracuse woman who told Sheriff’s Deputies that she had been robbed in the parking lot of Ichban Japanese Steakhouse Restaurant has been arrested.

The Sheriff’s Office says that Lindsey Squadrito, 27, of 420 Vann St., told them that the robber took her money and jewels.

Deputies believe that the robbery never happened.

Squadrito has been charged with falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeanor.

She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 20.
