Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Central New York’s largest downtown festival – Taste of Syracuse – gets underway Friday.
Crews spent Thursday afternoon putting up tents and signs, while vendors fine tuned their menus. More than 40 restaurants will offer up samples of their cuisine for $1 and you can wash down all the delicious food down by stopping by the beer and wine tents.
There are also plenty of activities for the kids and live music.
Taste of Syracuse runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Clinton Square. Admission is free. You just pay as you eat.
