Teachers, SCSD reach evaluation process agreement

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse City School District teachers and members of the district have agreed on a new evaluation process for staff at seven low-performing schools.

The district has submitted documents to the State Education Department and can’t discuss the details of the process until they hear back from the State. The district was supposed to have an agreement in place by the end of last year.

Recently, $11.5 million in funding had been suspended because no agreement had been met.
