Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A 13-year-old is charged with burglarizing a home twice and stealing a loaded gun. Syracuse Police say they caught the teen red-handed as he tried to pawn the stolen items.

The burglary happened at 465 Stafford Avenue earlier this week, police said.

Police say they found the suspect at the Pawn King at Shop City Plaza trying to sell the items stolen in the burglary.

Police say the teen was carrying a loaded gun when he was arrested.

The suspect is charged with burglary, grand larceny and criminal possession of a weapon. His case will be handled in family court.

Another 16-year-old accused in connection with the burglary is facing a charge of criminal possession of stolen property.
