Teen struck by SUV in Port Byron listed in stable condition
Port Byron (WSYR-TV) -- A Cayuga County teen was hit by an SUV while crossing Utica Street on her way to school Friday morning.
The 14-year-old girl was taken to University Hospital and is listed in stable condition.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at 7:12 a.m. near the intersection of Maple Street in the village of Port Byron.
The accident is under investigation and witnesses are being interviewed, the Sheriff’s Office says.
No tickets have been issued.
The names of those involved have not been released.
