Teens arrested after stabbing, shooting at VFW Post
Salina (WSYR-TV) – Two teens were arrested Friday following a brawl outside a VFW post last month.
One of those teens -- Gajuan Richardson -- is accused of stabbing a man outside in the parking lot of the VFW Post on LeMoyne Avenue; the other -- Charleston Paige -- is accused of firing a handgun outside the same VFW post.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office say16-year-old Gajuan Richardson stabbed 19-year-old Samuel Matos multiple times during the fight. He is charged with 2nd degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
Multiple witnesses were able to help police identify Richardson.
19-year-old Charleston Paige has also been charged in connection with the incident. He’s accused of firing a handgun outside the VFW post that same night.
Paige has been charged with criminal use of a firearm in the 2nd degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree and reckless endangerment in the 1st degree.
Richardson and Paige are being held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on $10,000 cash/bond for Richardson and $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond for Paige.
Both are scheduled to be in court on November 14.
