Three cats killed in Kirkville house fire
Kirkville (WSYR-TV) - Fire investigators believe lightning may have caused a house fire in a Kirkville home that killed three cats early Thursday morning.
The fire at the home located on 8329 Poolsbrook Road started around 2:30am. Three people living in the home escaped without injury.
It took firefighters several hours to knock the fire down. Three cats were killed in the fire.
The preliminary investigation finds that lightning may have been the cause of the fire.
