Three injured in two-car accident in Oswego

Oswego (WSYR-TV) – Three people were injured in an accident that occurred just inside the Oswego city limits on Rt. 481 shortly around noon Thursday.

Two people were taken to Oswego Hospital, a third was taken to a hospital in Syracuse.

Oswego Police Captain Michael Beckwith said that a vehicle was stopped on 481, waiting to make a left onto Churchill Road, when another vehicle came from behind and had to swerve into the opposite lane where it collided with another car.

Police have not determined why the vehicle had to swerve.
