State Fairgrounds (WSYR-TV) - Nickelodeon television star and rock musician/songwriter Drake Bell will be one of three performers aimed at children and teens scheduled to play free afternoon concerts at the upcoming New York State Fair.
Drew Seeley, an young actor, singer and songwriter, and Jordan Pruitt, a teenage pop singer who has toured the Jonas Brothers and the Cheetah Girls, will also perform.
Bell, who starred in the Nickelodeon network hits "Drake & Josh" and "The Amanda Show," will bring his show to Chevy Court at 2pm Monday, Sept. 7, during the final day of the State Fair.
Seeley, who toured with the concert version of "High School Musical" and starred opposite Selena Gomez in last year's tween-oriented movie "Another Cinderella Story," will perform at 2pm Saturday, Sept. 5.
Pruitt, an 18-year-old performer who's had four singles hit Billboard Magazine's pop charts, will take the stage at 2 pm Saturday, Aug. 29.
The concerts are part of an expanded format at the Fair's Chevy Court venue, where two different national acts will be featured each day, doubling the number of entertainers available there from 12 to 24.
The Fair will run from August 27 through Sept. 7; tickets are $6 in advance or $10 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free.
