Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – DestiNY USA announced via Twitter and Facebook that its newest tenant in the expanded Carousel Center mall will be Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill.
The eatery will be located on the mall’s third floor and it will open in Spring 2012, according to a DestiNY representative. It will be the first eatery in the expanded mall.
Part of the reason DestiNY chose Toby Keith is for his entertainment value. Between Revolutions, the upscale bowling alley, and the restaurant space, this will encompass about one fifth of the entire third floor – a level that will be completely dedicated to entertainment.
"…Live music, food and entertainment….it will help enhance the 3rd floor of our facility," DestiNY USA's David Aitken said. "They've asked for more variation in terms of brands. They've asked for different foods and asked for entertainment."
It will be the eatery's seventh location nationwide. The next closest location is in Foxborough, Mass.
Many of the other locations hold live music performances.

Future tenants are expected to possess all of the above. The new restaurant will be 20,000 square feet and include a stage. It will join other entertainment still to be announced for the third floor, as well as other restaurants and high-end outlets on the first and second floors.
Stores already announced include Saks Fifth Avenue’s outlet store, Hugo Boss and Max Mara.
