Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Zach Tomaselli, one of the men who accused former Syracuse University assistant basketball coach Bernie Fine of molestation, now says he fabricated his story.

Tomaselli made the announcement in an email to several media organizations.

As NewsChannel 9 has previously reported, police have questioned Tomaselli’s credibility since he made the accusations.

Earlier this week, Tomaselli was sentenced to three years and three months in prison for sexually abusing a boy in Maine.

Tomaselli is one of three who made sexual abuse accusations against Fine. Fine, who denied wrongdoing, was fired by the university.
