Photos: Painting the Green Stripe for the St. Patrick's ParadeSyracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade is set for tomorrow, but the festivities began on Friday morning.
Parade Grand Marshal Thomas Maroney continued the tradition of painting the Green Stripe along South Salina Street, marking the starting point of the parade.
In addition, the tradition of the St. Patrick’s Hunger Project will continue tomorrow.
Participants and attendees at the parade will be asked to bring food items or cash to be collected along the route, all of which will be donated to the Food Bank of Central New York.
