Traffic Alert: Daytime closure of 481 south ramp to 81 south
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Drivers who use I-481 southbound to get to I-81 should be aware of two traffic alerts.
The ramp from I-481 southbound to I-81 southbound will be closed from 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. again on Tuesday, for paving.
The Department of Transportation suggests drivers use a detour of I-81 northbound to the Brighton Ave. exit, to I-81 southbound on ramp.
The left lane of I-481 southbound to I-81 northbound will also be closed for paving during the same hours.
