Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Hiawatha Blvd., between Van Rensselaer St. and Solar St. in Syracuse will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
The street was closed through much of the day on Thursday.
The city says the closure is part of ongoing work on the Destiny USA pedestrian bridge.
The following detours are recommended by the city:
Westbound: Left on Solar St., Right on Bear St., Right on to Pulaski St. and then left onto Hiawatha Blvd.
Eastbound: Right on Pulaski St., Left on Bear St., Left on Solar St., Right onto Hiawatha Blvd.
